Sometimes you just have to let loose. Sure, dancing around your house or bobbing your head to the car radio has its moments. But for sheer musical ecstasy, there are times when you have to get out on the dance floor.

Saturday nights at Fiction, 214 W. Jackson Ave. in the Old City, seem to be the time and place to do it. There you'll find East Tennessee's favorite DJ, Slink, doing what he does best. From 10 at night until 3 a.m. you can shake your booty as Slink spins his usual blend of trance, house, techno and dance music.

With that much shaking going on, we might as well break out the Jiffy Pop.
