THE SOUP KITCHEN

Visiting the Soup Kitchen is like taking a trip to Grandma's house. There's plenty to eat, the soup is piping hot and ready to be spooned into your bowl, and, well, the place just feels like home.

That's just the way Bob and Jean Bardorf intended it to be.

Each day the cooks at The Soup Kitchen prepare the soup fresh in the kitchen and write the daily menu on the dusty blackboard at the front of the restaurant. Seven types of soup, along with chili, are served cafeteria style, along with fresh bread, sandwiches, desserts and drinks.

And best of all, the soup here is for everybody, so you don't have to worry about hearing those infamous words, "No soup for you!"
