TEXAS ROADHOUSE
Various locations
Let's now celebrate good grub.
To us, "grub" means good, wholesome food of the meat-and-potatoes variety. Which is what you get at Texas Roadhouse, a restaurant where the steaks are aged, grain-fed and cut on the premises. They know how to grill 'em, too -- "rare" means cut the horns off and trot it over to the table. "Medium" means a center that's as hot and pink as a ticked-off Easter Bunny. "Well done" means the chef is weeping -- but he'll do it and still smile.
The side dishes are the sort you get at your momma's house, where they're dished out of a chipped bowl that belonged to your great-grandmother.
