Regular guys have a name for their brethren who are always dressed to perfection: self-absorbed jerks.

Still, a man needs to look his best from time to time. Women like it. So do bosses. Problem is, the average guy considers himself dressed-up if his T-shirt is clean and he's wearing socks. So don't expect him to know that the well-dressed man owns at least 12 neckties. And unless you want to put him into a trance, don't quiz a guy on the difference between black-tie optional, semiformal and cocktail attire.
