Sunday brunch is served from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. We suggest bringing a change of clothes (in a larger size, of course) and staying for the duration.

Amateurs fill up on the entrees -- prime rib, fried turkey, meat pasta, seafood pasta, grilled ham, rotisserie chicken and more.

But the seasoned vet knows to either save plenty of room for dessert, or just forget the prelude and jump straight to the sweets. Five of these are offered each week: tiramisu, fresh fruit trifle, German chocolate cake, carrot cake, apple crumb cake, apple cobbler, peach cobbler, fresh strawberries, fresh peaches, chocolate mousse cake, Italian cream cake and chocolate brownies.

If you can find the room, there's also an expansive breakfast bar (with made-to-order omelets among the choices), and a variety of appetizers, soups and side dishes. Whew!
