SALON VISAGE
Various locations
Feeling a little fat? A little shaggy? A little icky? That's how we feel after a hard day of sitting around the office doing noth ... er, typing our fingers off.
What we probably need is a trip to Salon Visage.
Since its inception in 1985, when Salon Visage was located in a tiny renovated house between Kingston Pike and Sutherland Avenue, Frank and Belinda Gambuzza's business has been expanding and professionally taking care of its customers' needs. They must be doing something right.
Today, Salon Visage has two locations in Knoxville and one location in Cookeville, as well as a year-old spa not far from the Downtown West location.
So just what can the folks at Salon Visage do for you? Well there's hair cutting and styling, hair coloring, all sorts of shampooing and texturing, manicure, pedicure, makeup, waxing, and massage, just to scratch the surface.
"We strive for excellence," says Frank Gambuzza. "We know that if we keep striving for excellence internationally, we'll be successful locally."
Indeed, the Gambuzzas make a regular habit of traveling the world, teaching other stylists their tricks as well as learning new, cutting-edge styling techniques themselves.
Sounds like a visit worth taking a sick day over. Just don't tell our editor.
