BEST PLACE TO WALK
WINNER

LAKESHORE PARK

Finding a good place to get some exercise can be troublesome, especially when it comes to walking. You'll want the scenery to be beautiful, yet not so beautiful that you forget to keep walking. You'll want other people to be nearby so you can politely nod hello. But you probably don't want so many people around that your walk resembles a Macy's Thanksgiving parade. And you'll want to be safely out of the way of traffic. Nothing ends a walk quicker than being flattened by a runaway semi.

Fortunately, Lakeshore is just such a place. The scenery is striking (but not too striking), there are other people to keep you company (but not too many), and you don't have to worry about being smooshed by semis.

Runners-up: Cherokee Boulevard and Fountain City Park
